Sonic Legacy presents the debut of our new audio-based series Legacy Uncut! In this voice-acted and narrated audio drama, Tails muses on his relationship with Sonic, facets of Sonic's personality that he finds troubling, and then Aleena calls to discuss some things with him.

Broken Pedestal[]
Shortly after the events on the Space Colony ARK, Tails returns to his workshop in the Mystic Ruins to both assess the state of his business, Miles Electric, and the horrific ramifications of the last seventy-two hours.
He remembers a conversation with Sonic at the end of it all, and how Sonic found the events fun and seemed nonchalant about them, stating it was quite the rush. Tails was shaken to hear those words, and shocked at Sonic's attitude, worrying about the day where his interests would no longer align. He also remembers fondly being adopted into his family.
As he falls asleep, his pager goes off. His new mom, Aleena, wants him to call. When he does so, she expresses relief that he is alright and her worry. They have a conversation about Sonic and how free-spirited he is, briefly turning the subject to Yeager.
Aleena expresses concern over Sonic and how he's changed, as if there's a craving in him he cannot satiate. When she states it feels like "it doesn't matter" to Sonic anymore, Tails panics a bit. He tells Aleena he's tired and she tells him to sleep before ending the call. He resolves to keep an eye on Sonic.
